Here is one of those movies that life was happening and I missed it, it was a movie based off the book by Seth Grahame-Smith which was based on the book “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen.
I had never been a fan of Jane Austen, I do remember having to read it in 10th grade English and then again in College. Now, Seth Grahame-Smith has reimagined “Pride and Prejudice” and in his reimagination he has added Zombies, because why not. I’m a fan of a little zombie action and this reimagining got me to read (actually listen) “Pride and Prejudice” again, and sort of enjoy it.
I enjoyed Seth Grahame-Smith’s other book “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” but the downside of that one was that when it became a movie, they left out half of the good storytelling plot points and action, and in the end, made the movie an unfortunate experience. I had a lot of hope for “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”
How did this Pride and Prejudice and Zombies turn out then? Did it miss the mark like the prior “Abraham Lincoln…” or did it hit the mark and was awesome?
